A free holiday workshop on boundaries, guilt & learning to say no

Join us for a relaxed, interactive morning in the park where we’ll explore why saying no can feel so hard and how we can get better at noticing, trusting, and honoring our own boundaries as we approach the chaos of the holidays.

Bring a blanket or chair. Light refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited!

The holidays can mean a lot of saying yes when you really want to say no. Going to the thing. Staying longer at the thing than you want to. Seeing the family member(s) you’d rather avoid. Keeping the peace.

In this free, interactive workshop, we’ll get curious about why disappointing other people can feel so uncomfortable. Where did we learn that saying no was a problem? What happens in our bodies when we say yes while something inside us is saying (or maybe screaming), “No!”? And how do we start listening to that part of ourselves a little more?

Through reflection, discussion, somatic awareness, and some actual practice saying “no,” we’ll work on noticing what you want, tolerating the discomfort of disappointing someone, and building more trust in yourself during the holidays and beyond.
