If you've made it this far, chances are you are seeking something you haven’t yet found. You may just want someone to talk to or hold space for you. Maybe your ways of coping are no longer sustainable. You may be hoping to explore and discover more about yourself. If you're ready to take up a little more space in your own life, I'm here to walk with you.

Many of my clients are women and/or LGBTQ+ folks seeking to ease internal pressure and build self-compassion. I also work with couples of all relationship structures to rebuild trust and strengthen communication and intimacy.

Thanks for considering me as a part of your journey. If any of what you read here resonates with you, feel free to reach out or a free 15 minute phone consultation.

I look forward to connecting with you.

My approach

I provide a compassionate and down-to-earth approach to therapy while deeply honoring collaboration and honesty between myself and my clients. I see the therapeutic relationship as one of the most powerful agents of change. I customize my work to your needs and goals of therapy, utilizing a blend of Internal Family Systems, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Attachment, Emotionally Focused, and Cognitive-Behavioral modalities.

My focus

I support adults facing anxiety, life transitions, and stress, helping them process trauma, explore their inner world, and figure out what's next. I encourage and champion self-kindness and emotional awareness. If we work together, don’t be surprised if you begin rewriting internal narratives, identifying your self-worth, and healing long-term patterns.

My work with clients often focuses on boundary-setting and identity issues. I also work with couples who are seeking support around healthy and effective communication and attachment building. I am especially passionate about providing affirming mental health support and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community.

My communication style

My communication style is calm, open, and nonjudgmental. As a therapist, I want to hold space for you to feel all your feelings, even the ones you may not recognize or identify yet. I’m also transparent and won’t shy away from telling you the truth when you need to hear it. Maybe most importantly, I believe therapy doesn’t have to be serious all the time, so there will also be moments where we make jokes, laugh out loud, and reflect on the absurdity of the world!

Outcome Setting

I believe that each person is the expert in their own experience, therefore I approach goal setting by working with you to determine what will be the best utilization of our time together. This time/space/session is yours!

My first session with you

Our first session will be about building trust and rapport; for us to get to know each other a little bit. It’s not only an opportunity for me to learn about what brings you to therapy now, but more importantly, it will be an opportunity for you to assess if I am a good fit for your needs. I hope to offer you a safe, supportive space to share and begin to heal.

My First Session with You

In our first session, my primary goal is to create a sense of comfort and safety, giving you the space to share what brought you to therapy.
